During the recent Nintendo Direct Mini, we learned that 2018 will be a busy year for the Nintendo Switch, and information about Pokémon has been very interested. Fans know that Pokkén Tournament DX will add new playable Pokémon in the next few months and now Nintendo of Europe has conducted a survey containing unexpected information.
The survey was pretty simple: ask gamers what Switch game they want to buy next year. The list includes many popular titles available on Switch: Minecraft, Martio Kart 8, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mario Tennis Aces and many more, including an unknown title appearing at the end. List: Pokémon RPG. Take a look at the survey images below:

What about the game is still a mystery. However, it does coincide with rumors of a release date for a Pokémon game for the Switch, introducing an 8th generation version of Pokémon. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the latest installments for the Nintendo DS, which seems very coincidental. But there is still no confirmation in the survey about which game this game refers to.
If the survey is indeed hinting at a next-generation Pokémon, it seems unlikely that the latest title will be titled Pokémon 1 and Pokémon 0 . However, these games appear to be copyrighted by Nintendo, but this is actually an online joke. With that said, the predictions for the latest games continue, and we’ll probably find out soon enough – if this survey really hints at the controversial game.
If this news is accurate, 2018 will probably be a great year for the Nintendo Switch and the Pokémon franchise.
Pokémon on Nintendo Switch looks like it will be released in 2018.
