NieR Reincarnation set a date to land Mobile

Yesterday, Square Enix held a Christmas livestream event lasting nearly 5 hours with the participation of game director and story writer Yoko Taro as well as many other employees. The livestream revealed many important information related to NieR Reincarnation, including the release date of the game. It is known that the game will “launch” mobile on February 18 next year in Japan on both iOS and Android platforms, North America and Europe temporarily do not have a specific release time.​

NieR Reincarnation was originally scheduled to be released in 2020, but it was later postponed, fortunately because players did not have to wait too long to get their hands on this game. According to the publisher, the characters of NieR: Automata like 2B, 9S and A2 will appear in Reincarnation in the event that connects the two games.

This event will begin as soon as the game launches to attract Automata fans to Reincarnation and will be limited in time. Currently NieR: Automata has 5 million players worldwide, these are also potential users of Reincarnation.​

NieR Reincarnation is developed by Applibot and published by Square Enix. The game shares the same worldview with NieR Replicant and NieR: Automata but with standalone storylines. The main character in the game is a new female character, she has a companion named “Mama” – a shadow that is extremely familiar to the world of Cage. Their mission is to collect the fragments of “weapon memories” in Cage.​
