New hot games launching on Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC during the week of April 14, 2019

Nintendo Switch releases port of Cuphead and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster (also available on Xbox One). In addition, we also have action games: the zombie world World War Z and the hack and slash game Katana Zero. Strategy fans will appreciate the Anno 1800.

Anno 1800 – April 16

Available on: PC

The latest installment in the strategy series takes place in the era of industrialization. You will build cities filled with factories and trade goods around the world. New management options give you better control of factories, and cruises to carry goods across the continent.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster – April 16

Available on: Xbox One, Switch

A 2-in-1 game means your RPG journey will be twice as long. Final Fantasy X tells the story of Tidus and his comrades protecting Yuna during their pilgrimage. And X-2 follows Yuna as she searches for Tidus after he disappears. The game features the same turn-based and Sphere Grid leveling system as before, plus the option to play the classic sound or the remaster.

World War Z – April 16

Available on: PS4, Xbox One, PC

The third-person co-op zombie shooter is based on the 2013 movie of the same name. If you’ve seen this movie, you’ll definitely realize you’ll face a ‘flood’ of zombies. You can choose from 6 character classes and use a variety of weapons: guns, grenades, rockets, power grids, and more to fight off zombies.

Cuphead – April 18

Available on: Switch

This colorful and incredibly challenging game is coming to the new console – and it also lets you control Mugman in single-player mode (other platforms need updating to play). In addition, the version on Switch is still a journey through three islands and confronting nasty bosses in Cuphead.

Katana Zero – April 18

Available on: PC, Switch

Katana Zero’s hero can slow down time to slash enemies and block bullets, but will fall instantly if hit just once. Fortunately, the level will repeat until you finish the level perfectly. Beyond the action, you’ll discover what’s really going on in therapy, from the pills the doctor gives you and the nightmares they cause.
