Metal Slug: Awakening – Legend of “Dwarf Rambo” returns to Mobile

During the “Spark On” event held last weekend in China, Tencent Games has revealed to the public more than 20 new Mobile Game titles that are under development and will be released soon in the near future. In particular, attracting the most attention of fans is the game formerly known as Project J, now officially named as Project J. Metal Slug: Awakening – The game brings the legendary “Dwarf Rambo” back to mobile once again. In addition to enhancing the game’s graphics from the SNK era, Tencent also added many new features and mechanics to bring Metal Slug into the modern era.

The original game Metal Slug is one of the highlights of the famous game company SNK and the prominent graphic interface designer NeoGeo. Originally released in April 1996, Metal Slug has since innovated and developed more content to fit multiple devices.

Developed by Timi Studios – The cradle of Call of Duty Mobile, Arena of Valor, … so obviously Metal Slug: Awakening will have a lot of hit content. Players can expect elements like an open world to explore with different progression paths, more non-linear challenges, new mechanics like destroying blocks of rocks, using weapons to traverse the terrain and much more. All of this players can easily see in the first introductory trailer of the game.
