Little Nightmares 2 drops gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2020

Little Nightmares 2 has just released a new gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2020 to give fans a better look at the sequel to this fascinating horror game.

The gameplay trailer introduces many new creepy locations: from the spooky forest to the dark corridors and the terrifying ghost ship. The trailer also features many terrifying enemies that send chills down fans’ spines, unexpected jumpscares, and new types of dangerous creatures.

For those who don’t know the first game, Little Nightmare is a side-scrolling platform horror game that resembles Limbo and Inside. You control a child who must find a way out of many scary creatures and obstacles. This is a puzzle game and has a gameplay similar to LittleBitPlatnet: you must use your puzzle skills to pass the level. But with survival horror gameplay, Little Nightmare has its own unique feature that is very different from other games of the same genre. While the first part was scary, the next part is even more terrifying, with a lot of promises to make players “flip their pants” while playing the game.

In addition to introducing new enemies and locations, Little Nightmare 2 seems to separate a lot from the original when it comes to co-op. It is not clear if co-op will only be for local multiplayer or will also support online play. If playing online, I don’t know if the game will be played cross-platform with each other. Co-op is sure to take gameplay to the next level, allowing for some tricky puzzles that require the two of you to work together if you want to progress further.

At the end of the gameplay trailer at Gamescom 2020c, we learn that Little Nightmares will launch on February 11 next year for all current consoles, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions will be released at a later time.
