GameShop.at, an online game shop in Austria, posted an “uncut” version of Manhunt 3 for PS4 and Xbox One, and said the version would be “100% uncensored”. This sentence alludes to the fact that German law often “masks” violent games in the German and Austrian regions. The website also posted an image of the box that is believed to be of Manhunt 3.

This news sparked heated discussions on social media. Manhunt fans are beginning to believe that they just have to wait for official confirmation from Rockstar Games. However, there is a high chance that this information is incorrect and there are many reasons to be aware. First, in the description of Manhunt 3 on GameShop.at, when translated from German, it is just the official description of the first Manhunt.
