How to uninstall games and apps from Xbox One

Are you looking for a way to remove some games from Xbox One? With the launch system having only 500GB of hard drive space and some games requiring 50GB or more of free space, it’s only a matter of time before you run out of space.

The ideal solution to the lack of storage space is to buy an external drive exclusively used to store games for Xbox One, but that won’t help you in an emergency situation like right now. . If you are trying to install a game and don’t have enough free space then here’s what you need to do:

Delete games and apps from Xbox One

To uninstall a game or app on Xbox One, do the following:

• In the menu Home Xbox One, you choose My games & apps.
• Select a tab Games or Apps on the left side, depending on the game or app you want to uninstall.
• At the top of the list, you choose Sort AZ and change it to Sort by last used to see games that you haven’t played in a while. Or choose Sort by size to filter the heaviest game.
• Highlight that game, and press the button Menu on the driver.
• Choose Uninstall> Uninstall all to confirm the uninstall option.

This will remove the game from the console, but you still own it and can be downloaded again any time. You go to the tab Ready to install on the left side of the screen My games & apps to browse games you own but don’t install. If you are an Xbox Live Gold member, you will probably have tons of Gold titles waiting for you.
