Follow the steps below to edit categories in WordPress:

Step 1: First on the WordPress interface, find and click Posts =>Categories.

Step 2: On the new window you will see the category Category1 (Category1 is the category created in WordPress). When you hover your mouse over Categories, several options will appear below the category name. Which has 2 options to edit categories, including Edit and Quick Edit.

– Option Edit:If click select option Edit in Categorieson the screen will display a window like the screenshot below:

You can edit any required frame, then click Update button as shown in the screenshot below:

– Option Quick Edit: Click select option Quick Edit in Categories as in the photo below:

However on this window you can only edit Frame Name and Slug frame of the category as shown in the image below and then click the button Update Category to update changes.
