Method 1: How to access Facebook when blocked on Google Chrome

On the Chrome browser, the simplest way to unblock or access blocked websites, including Facebook, is to use a SOCKS proxy.

Follow the steps below to install SOCKS proxy on Chrome browser and you can access Facebook and other blocked websites:

Step 1: Open Google Chrome browser.
Step 2: Next find and click on the 3-dot icon in the top right corner of the screen, select Settings (Setting).

Step 3: Scroll down to find and click Advanced (advanced) =>System (system) =>Open proxy settings (open proxy settings).

Step 4: On the Internet Properties window displayed on the screen, click LAN Settings (LAN settings).

Step 5: Next on the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window, find and tick the option Use a proxy server for your LAN then click select Advanced (Advanced).

Step 6: Here enter the proxy server address or IP and proxy port information, then click OK.

Step 7: Return to the Internet Properties window, click Apply to complete the SOCKS proxy setup.

In case if you want to remove the proxy settings, follow the same steps from step 1 – 7 and uncheck the option Use a proxy server for your LAN done.

From now on you can freely access Facebook, blocked websites on Chrome browser.
