IO Interactive just announced the Hitman 3 game at Sony’s PlayStation 5 stream. The game will launch in January and will end the three “World of Assassins” that started with Hitman 2016.
We have known since last year that IO Interactice is developing Hitman 3, and the game will be the end of the Hitman trilogy, with a number of levels up to 20 maps. The final part of this Hitman has revealed that one of the game’s play points is Dubai, which will greatly affect the plot of the entire game later.
The trailer opens with a dark forest with three bald agents, dressed similarly to 47, but clearly not him. If you are a fan of the Hitman game from 2016 and have followed the plot in detail, you will probably guess which organization these names belong to. We have reason to say that 47’s pursuers are likely also from the same place that trained him to be an assassin, even these guys may even know about 47’s secret past.
With only 1 minute of trailer, it’s enough, but it summarizes so much that Hitman fans really expect in the 3rd sequel all this time. Will Providence turn the game around when 47 and Diana have too many of their weaknesses in their hands. Does Subject 6 really want to work with 47 to overthrow Providence as he claims? What will Diana do when she learns agent 47’s true past? Will she betray her comrades or will she continue to fight to overthrow Providence’s domination? We have to wait until the game comes out to know the real answer.
Hitman 3 will soon be available on PC and current and next generation consoles.
