Hearthstone: Galakrond deck, Pirate Warrior, Rogue Deathrattle about to be nerfed

When the last nerf patch came out just over 2 weeks ago, Iksar did say they were looking at the data and considering whether to add another nerf patch. This shouldn’t be too surprising, given that the last nerf patch rolled out very quickly, even before the meta had time to shape. Now, we are about to have the next patch nerf.

We’ll know about it as soon as next week, possibly January 13-17. Remember, later this January, Hearthstone will have a solo adventure with 35 new cards. Of course, Blizzard will want to release the patch later (let the new cards change the meta first).

As for nerfed decks – Iksar mentioned “several Galakrond decks”, and possibly non-Galakrond decks like Pirate Warrior or Deathrattle Rogue. Of course, this isn’t an official announcement, so that doesn’t mean these decks will be impacted – but since they’re mentioned, there’s a good chance it will. As for the “Galakrond deck”, Galakrond Shaman is still one of the best decks after the nerf, so it can be tweaked a bit. But it must be said that all Galakrond except Priest (badly) are still played in Tier 1/2 decks, which means they are potential “victims”.

Also: This patch will also have some balance changes for Heroes in Battlegrounds! It probably won’t be a big patch with new minions or heroes, but we could see the hero rotate in and out.
