Hearthstone: Decks to try on the first day of Saviors of Uldum

The Saviors of Uldum expansion is finally out in Hearthstone. If you’re logged into Hearthstone, you’ll probably need a new deck. Of course, it’s too early for us to know exactly what the best version of each deck will be, but at least, players can expect what the archetypes will be.

Here are a few decks you can try out on the first day of the new expansion. Saviors of Uldum is still very new, so craft carefully.

Old Guardian’s Reno Mage

Reno is back. In the early days of Hearthstone, one of the interesting archetypes to play was the Highlander deck, which revolved around Reno Jackson. In this expansion, Reno is the Legendary class Mage. If your deck has no duplicate cards, Reno the Relicoligist will deal 10 random damage divided among all enemy minions. This deck also features the highly anticipated Legendary neutral minion, Zephrys the Great. This version of Reno Mage was given by Old Guardian. You can refer to the deck code below.

Quest Priest by Brian Kibler

Few people create a deck Priest as good as Brian Kibler. When Dragon Master and former MTG World Championship champion aren’t casting special Hearthstone events, he often streams games on Twitch. One of the decks he’s been using lately is the new version of Quest Priest. The new Quest for the Priest class is Activate the Obelisk. This card requires you to recover 15 health to activate, then rewards you with Obelisk’s Eye. Obelisk’s Eye’s Hero Power grants three health regeneration. If you cast Obelisk Eye on a minon, it will also gain +3/+3.

Language Hacker’s Quest Shaman

Shaman is an interesting class at the end of Rise of Shadows. It possesses one of the most promising Quest cards. Mihai “Languagehacker” Dragalin is one of the best Hearthstone players in the world. The list above is an experiment by Language Hacker with Quest Shaman. The new Shaman Quest card is Corrupt the Waters. This card asks you to play six Battlecry cards and rewards Heart of Vir’naal. This Hero Power allows you to pay 2 mana and activate your Battlecry twice per turn. Shaman fans should give this deck a try, especially if you already own Shudderwock.

Note, this expansion is still new. As usual, the top decks and archetypes will slowly appear. No matter how attractive the cards are, craft them carefully and don’t waste dust.
