Get to know Lunara, the new hero of the Druid class

We have a new Druid hero. As many of you know, Druid is the last class to have a replacement hero (when some classes don’t just have a replacement hero). Now that Lunara Hearthstone is here, why don’t we learn more about this character?

Lunara appears in Hearthstone at the beginning of the Year of the Raven. Like Maeiv Shadowsong, she is unlocked by completing a special quest. Player must win 10 Standard matches (casual or ranked) and then will receive Lunara.

Like other alternate heroes, Lunara has a new avatar, voice and special effects when using her hero power.

Who is Lunara?

Lunara is the goddess of the forest and the first daughter of Cenarius. For those who don’t know Cenarius (except as a Legendary card), he is an important figure in the world of Warcraft. His mother was the goddess Eluna, and his father was the protector of wisdom, Malorne. Cenarius is worshiped by the Night Elves and is the patron of the druids. It is clear that Lunara possesses the powers of her family.

Like her sisters, the goddess of the forest is responsible for the protection of nature and the jungle. However, that’s what Lunara and her sisters have in common. But while her sister loves peace and serenity, Lunana (like her father) is a fierce protector. Lunara willingly picks up her spear if necessary.

An Extraordinary Beginning – Heroes of the Storm

Unlike the vast majority of heroes in Hearthstone, Lunara doesn’t have much history in the Warcraft world. That’s because she first appeared not in World of Warcraft but in Blizzard’s other game, Heroes of the Storm. In Heroes of the Storm, she is classified as a ‘ranged assassin’. Lunara was later introduced in World of Warcraft in the Legion expansion. She was found in Val’sharah’s Dreamgrove, the link between Azeroth and The Emerald Dream. Now, the goddess of the forest has appeared in the Hearthstone game.

Lunara will no doubt have a big role in future World of Warcraft expansions, but for now, thanks to her roots in Heroes of the Storm, her history isn’t much.

But this will soon change. Blizzard has just announced that it will be adding character biographies, with plans to include more in the game’s story to tie into other Blizzard worlds.

For now, what we know about characters from all of Blizzard’s worlds (including a lot of familiar faces in Hearthstone) is that they’re pulled from their own world into the Nexus, where Heroes of the Storm takes place. out. The Nexus is at the center of a cosmic storm that pulls these characters from their own world and creates strange formations. Alexxstraza fighting on the same front as Kerrigan? Sylvanas and Hanzo? But at the moment, how and how the Nexus draws characters from other worlds is still a mystery.

With the plot progress being rushed by Blizzard, we should finally know something about the Nexus. There will probably be more Blizzard characters appearing here, like Lunara, directly related to the game’s plot.

While not much is known about Luara, we do learn that she is a fierce warrior and is willing to do everything she can to protect her brothers and nature. Hopefully, we will have more information about Lunara and the biography of the forest goddess in the near future.
