The Mansion Under the Lake in Genshin Impact

When exploring the northeast of Watatsumi Island, you will see a mysterious lake. It was a mystery hidden deep under the water. To unlock this lake mansion, players need to complete Archon Quest for Chapter 2: Act 1. You will receive 40 primeval stones after conquering this secret for the first time.

Inside this secret scene, there are many bosses and dangerous enemies, including:

• Nobushi: Hitsukeban
• Mirror Maiden
• Treasure Hoarder (Pyro Potioneer, Pugilist, Cryo Potioneer)

They are quite difficult to defeat, especially the Mirror Maiden with its deadly ranged attacks.

How to unlock the lake mansion in Genshin Impact

First, you need to solve the underwater puzzle. Go to the lake and observe it. Next, follow the steps below:

• Summon Electroganum from a nearby Thunder Sakura Bough and move to rotate the arrowhead to point in the correct direction. If not, you can use Beidou’s elemental skill to create an electric current.
• Connect all the lightning electrodes quickly to solve this puzzle. You should use the elemental skills or charged arrows of Lisa, Sara or Fischl.
• Jump into the water and follow the corridor on the wall opposite the entrance to the secret realm. Swim through the tunnel and into the inner room. Since the tunnel is quite long, make sure you have enough stamina before you start swimming.
• Press the 3 buttons on the 3 walls in the inner room to open the gate.
• Go through the gate and look up at the ceiling, you will see a Relay Stone. Climb the wall and reach the Relay Stone. Then activate the cube body to drain the water in the lake.
• After draining the water in the lake, you can interact with the entrance to unlock it.

How to solve the Relay Stone puzzle

When pressing the 3 buttons on the wall, the steel gate opens, you will see a staircase going down. After draining the pool, go through the stairs and follow Seelie to connect the Recharged Stone and Cumulative Stone. Next, follow these steps to solve the Relay Stone puzzle.

• Follow the Electro Seelie to find and activate the lightning statues in the correct order and unseal the Lightning Probe.
• Use Beidou’s elemental burst or summon Electroganum to have the arrow point to the relay rock and open the gate. Collect the Relay Stone inside the room, then return to the starting room.
• Climb to the ceiling and collect 2 other Relay Stones.
• Place the Relay Stone between the Recharged Stone and the Cumulative Stone.
• Turn your character into an electrical junction by summoning the stone-like Electroganum that holds power and creates the ultimate bond.

After solving this puzzle, you will receive an Exquisite Chest next to the Cumulative Stone. Once you unlock the lake mansion scene in Genshin Impact, you can use it as a quick reference point to the island of Watatsumi.
