You might think most people who want the seven-year-old Grand Theft Auto 5 already own it, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. GTA 5 has just been free on Epic Games Sotre and immediately, the platform crashed.
As soon as the game was released for free, the game store started getting 505 errors, probably due to the huge amount of traffic. Epic acknowledged the overload on Twitter, and asked everyone to wait calmly while the team fixed the problem.
We are currently experiencing high traffic on the Epic Games Store.
We are aware that users may be encountering slow loading times, 500 errors, or launcher crashing at this time and we are actively working to scale. We’ll provide an update as soon as we can.

The problem seems to be fine, but some users still get errors, including the language being automatically changed. Epic said everything was fine. Everyone, hurry up and get the game because GTA 5 is only free until May 21.
