Fortnite: V5.10 update details, Guided Missle is back

This week we will have a new LTM mode called Fly Explosives. In that mode there will be jetpacks, explosions, creating an utter chaos.

Guided Missile is back in Battle Royale! But this weapon has been reduced in power compared to before.

Guided Missile (Battle Royale)

Guided Missile is back! Observe the battlefield from above, overcome obstacles, and help teammates ride rockets to the battlefield.

Fly Explosives (Battle Royale)

LTM Fly Explosives mode is here and ready for all squads. You’ll be able to use jetpacks to fly over your opponents’ heads and drop explosives in this mode.

BATTLE ROYALE

LIMITED TIME MODE: FLY EXPLOSIVES

Synthetic

High Explosives LTM combo mode and Jetpack item. Fly into the sky and blow up all opponents!

Mode details

• Only Explosive weapons are available in this mode.
• Floor Loot often appear Jetpack.
• The Fly Explosive Jetpack increases the cooldown and reduces the burn rate compared to the default Jetpack, allowing pilots to stay in the air longer.
• The waiting time between storms has been reduced so players don’t have as much time to loot (a match is shorter than 20 minutes on average).
• The maximum ammunition capacity of the missile is 120.
• Information (kill rate and number of wins) is also recorded in this mode.

LIMITED TIME MODE: PLAYGROUND

What’s new?

• Vaulted Jetpack has been added inside Fly Explosives LTM.
• Guided Missile has also been added.
• The spawn rate of healing items has been balanced by reducing the spawn rate of Chun Jug & shield (armor).
• Bandages have been removed from the game.
  • This increases the odds of large healing items for players to fully heal as well as shields.

Fixes

• The nameplate no longer shows the names of the opposing team members.

WEAPONS AND ITEM

• Guided Missile is back!
  • There are Epic and Legendary.
  • Fuse duration reduced from 18 to 15 seconds.
  • Movement speed reduced from 1100 to 1000.
  • Reload time increased to 2.4/2.2.
  • Damage reduction from 105/110 to 74/77.
  • Building damage reduced from 1100 to 400.
  • Explosions now deal damage to structures, regardless of line of sight (Line of Sight).
  • Guided Missile can be keyboard controlled with default navigation keys.

Fixes

• Issues with Slurp Juice have been fixed.

MOBILE

• iOS players will have a larger-than-usual update (2GB).
