Epic Games Store offers up to three free games at once: Darksiders and Steep

For the past 14 days, the Epic Games Store has given away one game a day for free to promote its game-selling platform. Entering the new year, Epic Games Store not only gives away 1 game, but up to 3 games.

Starting now until January 9, PC gamers can get it for free Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Editionand Steep from Epic Games Store. Unlike PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live, players do not need to pay a monthly fee to get these free games. What you need to do is install the Epic Games Store launcher and get the games, they will be yours forever.

For those who haven’t played these games, Darksiders 1 and 2 were both highly rated when they first came out. Inspired by gameplay from God of War and The Legend of Zelda, Darksiders created its own franchise, and recently launched Darksiders Genesis. Those who have not had the opportunity to try the series should start from these 2 parts.

Meanwhile, Steep is a snowboarding game from Ubisoft that launched in 2016. Steep has an average rating when compared to the two Darksiders games, but it’s still worth playing if you’re a fan of the sport. Steep was previously free on Uplay and PlayStation Plus, but those who missed out can now get it for free by downloading the Epic Games Store launcher.
