The answer is that Epic will give players a new library of games. The store releases free games every two weeks from opening. The game continues to be given away for free this week, with Grand Theft Auto V being the newest game. The game usually sells for $29.99 on Epic and Steam, making GTA V a great game to get for free.
Epic has ramped up games over the past 18 months, from indie games to AAA titles like GTA 5. Sometimes we’ve been given two games at once instead of one, and the store gave away new games every day for 12 Christmases last year. There was also a time when the Batman: Arkham trilogy and Lego Batman were free.
A total of 108 games have been given away by Epic since launch. The list of prices over $2,000 is compiled from the normal selling prices of games, specifically the price of all games that are free by Epic worth $2,140.94.
