Apply game room matching by region

PUBG has players all over the world and each region has their own way of playing the game. PUBG Corp focuses on the core, they analyzed the characteristics and trends of each region and then classified the player’s interest into 3 levels of normal, medium and extremely interested. Since then, PUBG Corp revised the room matching system according to these levels.

1. Areas normally affected by waiting for rooming

These areas include AS, KR/JP, SEA and EU and they will be suggested to choose Quick Join room search mode or can be understood as quick room search, because according to analysis, this area is usually not important. game mode, play any mode is fine. If the waiting time for people in this area exceeds the average time, a message will be displayed suggesting they should join Squad mode.

2. Areas of average influence by waiting for rooming

The area of ​​medium interest is NA, for this area they will be suggested to choose Random – Random because they usually don’t care about the map type but the game mode. Choosing Random will give them the ability to get into the game faster with their favorite game mode using any map.

However, PUBG Corp understands that map selection is often more important than getting into a quick match. So in choosing Random room matching, PUBG Corp will only include the 3 most frequent maps that the player plays instead of all 4 maps, and the rate of entering the preferred map will be on the top, unless the number of players on that map is not large enough to enter the game faster, the system will push the 2nd map up. PUBG Corp also added Featured Map and Preset Match to this area.

FEATURED MAP

With Featured Map the system will suggest whichever featured map is being chosen by the most players, with the hope that the suggestion will often appear on the newest map or just undergone an overhaul, such as Erangel coming soon. next. Featured Map will only be suggested for a certain period of time.

PRESET MATCH ONLY

With Preset Match, the system will give the player several external options.

– Preset Match will offer different gaming sessions including: TPP/ Squad/ 4 Maps (4 Sessions) and FPP/Squad/4 Maps (4 Sessions). A total of 8 gaming sessions for players to join immediately.

– Preset Match will only apply when players join alone and enter random Squad. Preset will not be suggested if the player is already in a team of 4.

– Preset Match does not have a waiting room, just enough at least 80 people will automatically enter the match.

– Once the match has started, another game session will appear to replace the one where the match took place.

– Preset Match is counted as a regular match, players will still receive full BP, SP, XP when participating.

3. The area is heavily affected in waiting for room matching

That’s the OC/SA area, this area is the most affected area in waiting for room matching with very long waiting time. PUBG Corp has not found the optimal solution for this area yet, so the system will temporarily suggest random selection for all maps and all game modes so they can find a room quickly. Best.
