On April Fools’ Day, Red Hook Studios teased new DLC for Darkest Dunegon: Last-man-standing, the hero-vs-hero arena! Everyone thinks this is an April Fool’s joke, but that’s not necessarily the case. It is the announcement for the next PvP DLC, The Butcher’s Circus, which will be out in May.
The DLC will add a new location in Hamlet called The Butcher’s Circus, where players will battle each other in a squad of four warriors. Redhook says people can participate in PvP “without fear of losing heroes in the campaign.”
Darkest Dungeon: The Butcher’s Circus is slated to release in May. Red Hook also confirmed Darkest Dungeon 2, announced in February 2019, is still in development.
