MIBR announced they had obtained the signature of Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe from INTZ.
The 26-year-old will replace Marcelo “coldzera” David, who was benched in July after announcing he wanted to leave the organization to find a new challenge.
kNgV- obtained a US P-1 visa, which allowed him to move back to the US after two years of being denied for playing for the Immortals on a tourist visa.
kNgV- has been playing for INTZ since September 2018, when the organization signed with the NoTag lineup. He helped his team get to the first Major two months ago. The Brazilian team then had to leave in the New Challengers Stage when they lost 0-3 to North, Vitality and Grayhound.
At MIBR, kNgV- will reunite with Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles, who is playing on loan from Luminosity. The pair finished second at PGL Major Krakow 2017 under Immortals – the organization that bought the famous MIBR brand from founder Paulo Velloso last year.
kNgV- played with new teammates after INTZ was dropped from the Major to get MIBR ready for the first tournament with a new roster. BLAST Pro Series Moscow taking place September 13-14 will be their first. A week later, the team will attend the V4 Future Sports Festival in Budapest.
INTZ has yet to comment on a kNGv- replacement, but according to sources in Brazil affiliated with the organization, Bruno “shz” Martinelli will replace him, who was recently benched at Keyd.
The new lineup of MIBR is as follows:
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Fernando “fer” Alvarenga
Epitacio “TACO” de Melo
Lucas “LUCAS1” Teles (borrowed)
Vito “kNgV-” Giuseppe
Marcelo “coldzera” David (sub)
Joao “felps” Vasconcellos (loan)
Wilton “zews” Prado (coach)
