Call of Duty Warzone reveals brand new Map in new trailer

New map of the Call of Duty: Warzone – Rebirth Island was officially revealed on December 7. The new trailer has provided the first glimpses of notable Season 1 content for both Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War.

The trailer tells the story of Russel Adler, who once infiltrated Rebirth Island in search of an experimental production line for Nova 6 – a deadly gas derived from Black Ops. The image of this island was previously posted by BlackOpsLeaks on Twitter, with the Warzone logo and the words Rebirth Island above.

Rebirth Island is similar in scope to the Alcatraz map from Blackout, although the layout isn’t quite the same. But to a certain extent, the new map somewhat inherits and promotes the spirit of Alcatraz. Activision mentioned the “Warzone experience” in the Season 1 development roadmap, and it’s likely that Rebirth Island is that experience.

The trailer also takes viewers to a New Jersey shopping mall, which is likely to be a new addition location in Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War. Season 1 of Warzone and Cold War will officially begin on December 16, six days after the original scheduled time.
