The organizers announced yesterday that the Showdown event and Finals of the tournament BLAST Premier CSGO has been moved online. BLAST Premier with events Esports other has been adjusted to online form due to translation Covid-19.


The initial phase of BLAST Premier, taking place at LANfeaturing 12 teams in a battle for the $50,000 first prize and a place in Spring Finals. Six teams earned places at Finalwhile the remaining 6 teams will be at Showdown. Showdown and Finals was scheduled to take place in June, confirmed to take place in Moscow, Russia, with a total prize pool of $750,000.

Showdown and Finals will now be split into online events in Europe and North America, with the Showdown phase expanded to host 10 teams in each region. The top four teams from Europe will advance to the European Finals, while the top two teams in NA will advance to the Finals respectively. The European Finals will feature 8 teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool, while 4 teams will compete for a $250,000 prize pool in North America.

There will be a crowned Spring Finals champion from each region. Winners from North America and Europe, as well as Europe’s second-place team, will earn a spot in Global Finals 2020, scheduled to take place in January 2021.

BLAST Showdown Spring will start streaming in North America and Europe on May 31. The European Finals are scheduled to begin on June 15 and the North American Finals on June 16.​
