Back 4 Blood – “Left 4 Dead 3” revealed the contents of the Open Beta

The newest element in the open beta of the Back 4 Blood is the PvP mode called “Swarm“. In Swarm mode, 8 players are split evenly into two teams and participate in three alternate games between the mutant and Human Ridden faction. The beta will feature two maps for this mode and bring six variants. Different Ridden include: Bruiser, Retch, Hocker, Exploder, Crusher and Stinger.

In addition to Swarm mode, the open beta also introduces some notable content such as quests, two new co-op maps, and the Fort Hope hub. The beta brings most of the content that will appear in the official Back 4 Blood release.

Back 4 Blood marks the return of Turtle Rock Studios with the game genre that made their name. Left 4 Dead is the representative of games that offer the best multiplayer experience thanks to competitive missions that require flexible coordination between players. Therefore, it is understandable that “junior” Back 4 Blood possesses similar elements to Left 4 Dead.

Open beta begins August 5 and runs through August 9 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC for pre-ordered players. Players without pre-orders still have the opportunity to participate by registering on the Back 4 Blood website here. The open beta will continue from August 12 to August 16. The beta supports cross-platform play and cross-generation of consoles. Back 4 Blood will officially launch on October 12 on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC.
