Apex Legends Season 5 Fortune’s Favor: Legend Loba, Season Quests and Battle Pass

Respawn Entertainment has just announced Season 5 of Apex Legends titled Fortune’s Favor. Season 5 will have a new Legend, Loba, the presence of Season Quests, Battle Pass and Ranked Series 4.

When will Apex Legends Season 5 come out?

Respawn announced Season 5 would begin on May 12, 2020. It was originally scheduled to launch on May 7, but the developer decided to push it back by a week to give players a chance to complete the event. Battle Armor of Season 4.

What’s new in Apex Legends Season 5?

LOBA

Finally, after weeks of speculation and leaks, Loba has been confirmed as the new Legend of Season 5. Season Quests

With the new chapter, the developer will also introduce Season Quests, a new way for players to receive rewards. “Treasure hunts and answers for the new Season Quests. Those who complete the journey will be handsomely rewarded.”

It is not clear how these Quests will work, and what their missions will be, but it is likely that these will be long challenges that players must strive for throughout the season.

Ranked Series 4

Ranked Series 4 will give gamers more than two months to strive for the highest possible rank.

Other than that, we don’t have too many changes. However, Respawn has tweaked Loss Forgiveness and added a Reconnect feature to allow players to return to the game in the event of a disconnection.

Battle Pass

As usual, season 5 will feature a new Battle Pass with over 100 items, including Legendary skins, Apex Packs, and unique items.

Respawn also revealed “new Battle Pass content for Season 5”.

Interestingly enough, Respawn did not reveal the new weapon that will be added in Season 5. Each previous season saw a new gun, and the developer also announced it before the new season started, but now could change it. Most believe the game will have a Volt or an SMG CAR in the Titanfall series, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
