Apex Legends Season 3 Meltdown: Trailer, new weapon, release time

Respawn Entertainment has finally announced Season 3 of Apex Legends called Meltdown with release date and new content.

Like the previous two seasons, Meltdown will bring Legend, weapons, Battle Pass and many new things in Apex Legends.

When is Apex Legends Season 3: Meltdown coming out?

Respawn has confirmed Season 3 will begin October 1, with many major updates added to the game.

New Legend: Crypto

Crypto will be the newest Legend for players to control in Kings Canyon. This is not a big surprise since the previous information has been somewhat shared.

Three of Crypto’s abilities are yet to be confirmed, but Respawn says in the description: “Cool, calm, placid, Crypto uses observation drones to control the battle undetected.”

New Weapon: Charge Rifle

Season 3 will bring a new weapon called Charge Rifle. It looks like a weapon that uses energy bullets, firing energy beams directly instead of individual bullets.

New Battle Pass

Meltdown will add a Battle Pass for players to upgrade and get new rewards. It will feature more than “100 items,” including Legendary skins, packs, and more new content coming out in Season 3.

Ranked Series 2

Respawn also made some big changes to Ranked Play for Season 3, changing several aspects from Season 2, including scoring, RP cost to join, rewards, etc.
