Age of Empires 4 trailer released

Microsoft just debuted the Age of Empires 4 trailer at X019, but hasn’t announced a release date yet. Age of Empires 4 was first announced at Gamescom 2017. Since then, Microsoft has been quite tight-lipped about the fourth part of this Empire game. Developed by Relic Entertainment, the company owned by Sega, best known for the Company of Heroes games.

Microsoft also just released Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition, an update to part 2 released in 1999. Last year, the original Age of Empires Definitives Edition was also released.

In the Age of Empires games, the player controls people, soldiers, and structures from one of history’s eras, such as the Japanese samurai, the Roman empire, or the British soldier. Resources are collected to create other buildings. These buildings are upgraded through the skill tree, to create more advanced warriors, including melee, gunner, and gunner. Each army of each civilization has different advantages and disadvantages.

Age of Empires 4 will continue that tradition. But in the last trailer, Relic wanted to focus more on the details of the buildings, as well as the number of troops appearing at the same time on the screen.
