After the sexual harassment scandal, the father of League of Legends compensated female employees 230 billion

Starting with the Kotaku report, Riot Games has revealed a lot of “secret history” that gamers have not known for a long time. There, many high-ranking positions of the company have harassed and discriminated against female employees, causing them to always take on low-level jobs with salaries that are not commensurate with their abilities.

Riot Games then faced strong criticism from the fan community as well as the vast majority of employees, leading to a protest at Riot Games’ headquarters in Los Angeles in May. Riot then had to take steps to calm the situation, in parallel with amending the company’s regulations and most typically, refunding the amount of up to 10 million USD to all female employees who used to work here. .

This is the result of the Riot Games lawsuit at the end of last year and was not resolved until August of this year.
