World of Horror – Horror masterpiece opens the test door, gamers are ready to “close the diaper” to fit

For fans of the genre horror manga, Junji Ito Probably not a strange name. With spooky drawings, creepy story plots, Junji Ito’s works bring haunting nightmares, ready to suffocate the breath of the weak. Inspired by all the monstrous creations of that horror tycoon, the game World of Horror or Kyofu no Sekai since its publication has attracted the attention of the community. After a long time of development, the good news for fans is that the game will be open for testing via Steam Early Access on February 20. The official version is expected to launch in late 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Windows and MAC OS X.

World of Horror takes gamers to a ghostly Japanese seaside town in the 1980s. Reportedly collaborating with Panstasz, the creator of World of Horror is Cassandra Khaw, Ubisoft’s screenwriter, author of the hit horror novel “Hammers on Bone”, and the writer behind games like Wasteland 3, Sunless Skies and She Remembered Caterpillars. Sharing about this partnership, Panstasz said: “Working with Cassandra is really great. She helped me adjust the words to fit her style horror game. Her insight helps me understand the nature of the mysteries, characters and each item that appear in the game.”

World of Horror will be available on Steam Early Access on February 20 for $14.99, the official version to be released later this year.​
