Update 6.3 is available on test servers with new weapon especially rocket launcher – Panzerfaust. Explosive weapons exclusively for Karakin map was teased in the clip PUBG season 6 a while back, but this will be the first time players will be able to directly use this massive AoE damage tool. Rocket launchers will appear in unexpected places, players will need time to find the spawn location of the weapon.
The new weapon has a fairly large radius of damage with a range of 6 meters from where the missile appears, and like a sticky bomb, the missile can break many obstacles on the map. The rocket launcher also has “zeroing options” at 60 meters, 100 meters (default) and 150 meters, however the rocket can be destroyed in mid-air if hit by bullets (or other explosions) , giving players the freedom to create appropriate tactics.
As the developer explains, Panzerfaust takes up a primary weapon slot, limiting the player’s options, and it has such a powerful after-explosion effect that it can wipe out an entire team if used carelessly – so rocket launchers still have some disadvantages to keep in mind.
This is also a single-use weapon, so players will need to use shots carefully. But when placed in Karakin – the smallest PUBG map ever, with only 64 players, the ability to deal impressive damage when owning Panzerfaust is quite high.
There is no specific release date for the 6.3 update yet, but Panzerfaust will surely appear in the game soon. Readers can also see more details about the update here.
