If the idea of building an effective governance system and a cross-functional economy sounds a bit far-fetched in Cities: Skylines now, then Industries of Titan is suggesting a much more realistic scenario. That is, megacorporations that take the place of government will utilize natural resources to create the most profitable city on Saturn.
Industries of Titan is a cross between games strategy and management game. New citizens will arrive at the base sorted based on the player’s position in the main city council. Players need to “monetize” their people to make a profit, such as assigning people to groups to see targeted ads and then upgrading villagers so they can continue working without eating or sleeping.
Ownership helps players unlock more buildings, so they can start taking advantage of the resources and benefits of new structures. Players also need to build defenses to fight against rebel forces who oppose the current rule of the city. Players can also choose non-war zen mode for a more comfortable experience.
The video below will give you a more detailed analysis of the game. Industries of Titan is currently in the stage Early Access above Epic Games Store. The game is expected to be available on Steam in 2021.
