Subnautica 2 revealed – Add Multi mode?

Subnautica: Below Zero Released as a DLC expansion, and although developed independently, Below Zero is not quite a full version. It seems that the developer Unknown Worlds There are new calculations after Below Zero ends Early Access stage. According to the developers, Subnautica will definitely have a sequel and that could be the official version that supports multiplayer features.

Art director Cory Strader said: “We knew from the start that Below Zero would not have a multiplayer mode. Below Zero was originally planned as an expansion with a much shorter timeline than the current one. So we know that Multiplayer mode completely out of development.” However, Strader also shared: “If there is another Subnautica game in the future, we will rethink the Multiplayer feature.”

Currently, the developers are working on a new, unannounced game, and the entire studio is working on many concepts for new games in the future. The team behind Below Zero will do the same when the game runs to 1.0, but Unknown Worlds’ disclosure has fans speculating that another Subnautica title will definitely be released in the future. Subnautica: Below Zero will end its Early Access phase this spring.
