Auto Chess: The existence of super-rare, super-strong SSR heroes

Test server Dota Auto Chess will have a few more important updates, not just stopping at hero Dazzle as previously discovered.

Shallow Grave

Dazzle was added to the test server on April 17 in the position of Troll – Priest, but the hero’s new skills and classes are still unknown. In the update on April 23, it looks like Dazzle will have his teammate, Shallow Grave.

In Dota Auto Chess, Shallow Grave has a 10 second cooldown and makes 1/2/3 allies invulnerable for 5 seconds. Dazzle will automatically cast Shallow Grave on the pieces with the lowest health percentage on the team.

Priest combo: Shield

Priest is the newest class scheduled to be added to the game around the same time as Dazzle. Currently, it will only trigger combos with a Priest piece on the board.

Shield creates a protective shield that reduces courier damage by 30%.

There is some evidence that Dark Seer will also be added, but for now we won’t go into details about Dark Seer. Instead, an unexpected update appeared on the test server itself, the Super Secret Rare Lich.

What is Super Secret Rare (SSR) or Super Rare?

Dota Auto Chess already has two SSR pieces, but most people haven’t seen them yet. That’s because SSR pieces have a spawn rate of 1 in 10 million.

Chaos Knight Hellfire costs 15 gold and has his second ability as his ultimate in Dota 2, Phantasm. The remaining SSR troops are Necrophos. It costs 10 gold and gives me the Dota 2 ultimate, Reaper’s Scythe.

SSR Lich

The test server also added Lich to the SSR staging. Lich’s move seems to be taken from Dota 2 Lich’s Sacrifice but the description in Dota Auto Chess has not been added yet.

Test server gameplay and update skins:

• Updated Ogre Magi and Witch Doctor’s moves to match their descriptions. Additionally, Plasma Field (Razor) and Bloodlust (Ogre) no longer affect moving pieces
• Slardar’s 2-star and 3-star skins changed.
• The pre-match phase will show the current stars of the pieces.
• SSR troops now have a special effect to display their current star count.
