Guide Dota 2: Faceless Void Yatoro, max Stat, lvl 16 will increase W

Here’s a tutorial by xuisoko on Reddit:

I’m pretty sure many gamers have adopted this build in high rank MMR, but Yatoro is currently dominating Faceless Void with this build and has a 90% win rate. You can watch a video tutorial on YouTube here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLcqMDG2zDc

I talk a lot about item options in the video, but the article will explain in more detail about skill build selection and laning.

Build item Yatoro style

Starting Item: Magic Stick, 2 Branch, Faerie, Quelling Blade, Tango (if the enemy doesn’t cast spell, won’t use Magic Stick)

Starter Item > Elvenskin > Power Treads (First Boots or Gloves will be explained below) > Magic Wand/Mask of Madness (explained below) > Maelstrom > BKB > Luxury Item

Luxury items: Manta, Linken Sphere, Mjollnir, whatever you need. Examples: Manta vs Silence, and dispel, Linken Sphere vs Doom/SF Eul, etc., Mjollnir if extra damage is needed.

Build when winning lane

When Yatoro sees that the opponent can’t put pressure on him for the first 2 levels, he will keep a leveled point and increase it to E or W if he sees the possibility of a kill.

Possible builds at level 2:

  • W>E (if you want to kill and can effectively cast Time Dilation for a kill)
  • Q>E (If you want to stay in lane and trade hit)
  • Q>E (If you want to stay in lane and get kills)

At level 3, if you’re winning lane and can kill, you want all 3 spells. If you feel like you can’t kill anyone, max bash and keep 1 point for Q. When winning lane, Yatoro will prioritize Boots over Gloves of Haste, but always buy Elvenskin first. When winning lane, he goes to Quarter Staff before Morbid Mask (Go to Modbid Mask first if Void has low health and needs laning ability)

Build when losing lane

If you lose lane, your build should be at 2Q 0W 3E. When losing lane, Yatoro prioritizes Gloves of Haste over Boots, then completes Power Treads, MOM to be able to farm. Gloves of Haste + Elvenskin gives him a better last hit, while Boots + Elvenskin increases his ability to kill someone and apply pressure.

Skill building Yatoro style

The first 5 levels of Faceless Void are quite varied and have been explained above, but everything else is the same in every game. Yatoro only increases W by 1 point, and doesn’t take the Level 10 talent nor Util level 2. Util level 2 is not good, because it consumes more mana without adding much to the Void.

Yatoro prioritizes Attribute points over Util level 2 and Time Dilation. It gives him HP, attack speed, mana, and damage. He farmed faster on this build and more stable in combat.

Level 15 talent, he chose the right talent and then raised Util level 2 at level 16.

Chrono Guide like Yatoro

How to move around the map and decide how Chrono is covered in the video, but you can read below.

If you need Roshan, don’t use Chrono to kill enemy carry. Using it to kill heroes can prevent you from eating Roshan. Who is the strongest hero in the Roshan area on the opposing team? Pangolier? Earthshaker? If so then Chrono them before eating Roshan. Apply this mindset when you push Highground or Turret. Who will stop you from taking the tower? Zeus? Tinkers? Chrono them! Everything is explained better in the video.
