Black Desert Online is a paid MMO game with options from $10 to $50 and a 7-day free trial for those who are curious but not convinced enough to pay their bills. Starting today and running until October 17th, Pearl Abyss and Kakao Games will present exciting challenges in trial players, and if successful, you will get to play the game completely free.
Anyone who gets their character to level 56 and completes the “awakening quest” before the 7-day trial ends will receive a free Starter’s Package, usually selling for $10. It doesn’t include any extra content, like horses, Elion’s Blessings or House Furnishing Coupon, but you can play the game for free on North American and European servers (it’s not clear if the SEA version includes this event).
Those who reach level 56 to receive the “Awakening Quest chain” quest by Black Spirit will be able to use Awakening moves and Awakening weapons.
“Awakened players will have brand new weapons and a whole host of new skills so you can enjoy the game in a more unique and exciting way while exploring the world of Black Desert Online,” p. 7 – Date of challenge recorded.
There are a few limitations: Players who purchased the game will not be able to participate, and if cheating (and found out), you will be disqualified. And the free version is not on Steam: Free accounts can only be played directly from blackdesertonline.com.
