Will Battlefield 6 be released for free?

The content of the survey was revealed by YouTuber Lossy. Lossy said two points worth noting are Battlefield 6 will have free-to-play element and questions that survey players’ interest in experiencing a “new or available mode” in an upcoming FPS game for free. The YouTuber also linked the above question to the current collaboration between Criterion Games and DICE in the project Battlefield 6 and commented that this is a sign of plans to make a new battle royale game.

Criterion is the creator of the Firestorm Mode in Battlefield 5, and that’s why a similar mode could be included in the upcoming game. In addition, Battlefield 6 will be updated with a lot of new maps, because map launches have become an important factor for the battle royale series.
