The Sims 5 is in development

The Sims 5 release time

Part 1 and 2 are 5 years apart, while 2 and 3 are 5 years apart; and 3 and 4 are 5 years. If followed in this order, The Sims 5 would have been released in 2018 or 2019, but that didn’t happen.

If you think about Xbox One and PlayStation 4, both have a lifespan of about 7 years. Two next-gen consoles are slated for release in 2020. If previous installments took four to five years to produce, developing games on new platforms could take the game until 2023 or 2024. However, this is just a prediction, not official information.
