What’s new in Fortnite Season 5?

Fortnite season 5 survival shooter officially released on July 12, 2018, let us update the most notable change in Fortnite Season 5.

Fortnite Fortnite for iOS

New map

The first thing you’ll notice is that this Fortnite season 5 map is very different! Besides old strong locations like the leaning towers (Tilted Tower) and a whole new desert region Paradise Palms, there are a series of interesting surprises waiting for players to explore.

New vehicle: All Terrain Kart (off-road vehicle)

Since its launch, Fortnite has impressed with the first vehicle: the strange, unique supermarket trolley never seen in any action game. And certainly this time the All Terrain Kart terrain vehicle is also “stunned” equally. You and 3 other players can hop on a highly anticipated racing car and ride it across the island! Gather your team together and feel free to move around in your own style.

Space cracks

This space rift has been on the map for a while, now you can jump in there! When entering a space gap, you can move to another part of the map and parachute onto the island.

Self-aiming mode on iOS

The iOS version of Fortnite now has a new feature, an Auto Aim mode. After updating the game on your iPhone, you’ll be prompted to choose which shooting mode you want to use.

Auto Aim will automatically shoot when an enemy enters the weapon’s range. You can also choose to press the dedicated fire button or tap anywhere on the screen to shoot like you did before.

Motion controls for Nintendo Switch

Epic Games added gesture control support to a version of Fortnite for the Nintendo Switch. You can enable them in Settings if you want when trying to take down 99 other players.

In addition to the above outstanding changes, Epic Games has many other small updates and upgrades to Save The World mode.
