April Fools has just ended and like every year, we have quite a few jokes that seem to come from game developers and publishers. Here is a compilation of April Fools jokes in 2019.

This is an extremely high quality April Fools product with Omega smart assist device. It’s actually a promotional video for a free trial of Final Fantasy 14, using the MMO mogul as its theme.

Capcom World President Challenges: Reminiscent of barrel machine memories

Capcom launched its April Fools game in which you take on the position of World President. Shoot soldiers, collect power-ups and dodge enemy bullets. This game is simple but the sound reminds us of old games from the arcade days.

PC Gaming Wiki becomes Epic Gaming Wiki trademark

The popular PC Gaming Wiki has an ‘exclusive’ partnership with Epic Games. This April Fools event is seen as a satire of the Epic Games Store’s exclusive drama in recent months. “To accommodate the lack of features in the Epic Games Store, we have decided not to support: forums, refunds, parties, account sharing, rollback, screenshots, groups, marketplace, mods hosting, library arrangement, and the entire Linux operating system as the Epic Games Store does not support these features.”

“Nine billion randomly generated dungeons” and “virtual virtual reality” promise in the trailer for Funcom’s new game Conan. Funcom even seriously created www.conanchopchop.com for ‘this game’.

RON Nvidia has its own website. “Are you angry? RON uses state-of-the-art RageConverter™ technology to convert your angry rhetorical questions into words of encouragement for the team.” In addition, RON also supports more in-game information for you: terrain, opponents, etc.

World ot Tanks goes back in time

World or Tanks Classic is an additional mode that allows the game to go back to the original days of the game when there were only three countries and tanks completely ignoring physical interaction. You can download the mode here and play until April 3.

Total War: Thee Kingdoms old Nokia mobile version

Creative Assembly ‘shares’ mobile mode for Three Kingdoms with the old web interface. Promises ‘out of date graphics!’ and ‘reduced gameplay features!’. The game works perfectly on Nokia 3310.
