Blizzard announced Warcraft 3: Reforged multiplayer beta starting this week.
Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos came out in 2002, with the expansion The Frozen Throne coming in 2003.
World of Warcraft launched in 2004 and became one of Blizzard’s biggest titles. Now, after 15 years of waiting, RTS Warcraft fans got to see Reforged at Blizzcon 2018.
Before the annual event, the game’s character models and other things were shared.
When does the beta start?
Blizzard announced on October 29 that the Warcraft 3: Reforged Multiplayer beta will begin in select regions a week before Blizzcon 2019 – the event kicks off November 1.
The beta is currently only for Humans and Orcs, while Night Elves and Undead will be added “in the coming weeks”.
Currently the multiplayer beta only has 1v1 and 2v2 modes, but Blizzard says they will add more things along with more races at a later time.
Beta tickets will be sent to those who have pre-ordered the Spoils of War special. Each batch of invitations will be given to those who have purchased the game.
Spoils of War Warcraft 3 Reforged includes special bonus items from other Blizzard games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, etc.
After nearly a year of waiting, the Reforged multiplayer beta is good news for fans.
What else does BlizzCon bring to Warcraft 3: Reforged?
BlizzCon 2019 promises to be one of the biggest events of recent years, and Warcraft 3 fans are looking forward to Reforged’s official launch time.
We might see Night Elves and Undead at BlizzCon this time. Note, only those who pre-order Spoils of War will receive an invitation to the beta!
