Vespa fell into financial crisis, where will the future of King’s Raid and part 2 in development go?

More specifically, in the early 2022, the Vespa developer in Korea announced many financial problems that the company was facing. According to various sources, on July 1, the CEO (or representative) of King’s Raid developer held a large meeting of the entire company with more than 105 current employees. During this meeting, the CEO informed about the crisis situation the company was going through and asked the employees to “volunteer” leave without reason.

This is a rather strange proposition but completely realistic given the current state of Vespa. When employees’ salaries are still paid in May, their June salaries are all delayed and July salaries are still unknown. This move also makes many people worried about the current King’s raid game and how this NPT’s unfinished projects will be in the future.

Currently, Vespa is expected to retain only a small development team to maintain the operation of its two major games, King’s Raid and Time Defenders. With the King’s Raid 2 project completed 70% but almost impossible to complete for future launch, the Vespa director also shared that raising capital and finding investment sources is becoming more and more difficult, especially with their unreasonable moves such as opening more Studio in Japan and mass recruitment to develop the unsuccessful Shining Force project.
