The TI10 Battle Pass will end before The International 10 takes place.
Valve has just released a new update for Dota 2 to fix issues related to the ‘game coordinator’, causing slow Dota 2 matchmaking or the inability to find matches for global gamers in the past few days. In addition to this news, Valve also revealed the end date of the Battle Pass TI10.
Battle Pass TI10 will end on September 19, 2020.
In the announcement, Valve said it planned to end it on September 12. But the time was extended by a week due to the game’s server problems last week.
In today’s update we will be extending the Battle Pass end date by a week, from Sep 12 to Sep 19. We have also made a few improvements to the Game Coordinator today, and will continue to investigate some more clues related to the extreme load surge that happened at 4AM Seattle.

The fact that Valve announced the end time of the Battle Pass TI10 early was quite surprising. Since the official time of the Battle Pass TI usually happens after the game’s annual esports event ends, Valve also extended the Battle Pass by a day or two to give fans a chance to buy levels and earn more items.
The bigger surprise is that the TI10 Battle Pass will be completely separate from the TI event, aside from its revenue contributing to the tournament prize money.
When will The International 10 take place?
The International is the bulk of the annual Battle Pass TI. Valve promotes this Battle pass tournament through designs to keep fans hooked. In past years, it included group stage, fantasy mini-games and tournament predictions.
Valve announced The International 10 has been postponed indefinitely in April. While many expected the battle pass to take place until TI10, Valve shows that they have completely different plans, unless things will be changed. continue in the future.
While the TI10 Battle Pass will end on September 19, we don’t know when The International will take place. Valve previously said the event would not take place until 2021, with the exact time and location still unknown.
Valve’s leagues can’t return until regional leagues are introduced this 2020.
