During the presentation recently announced by Sony, Uncharted 4 was discovered to be in the “Planned PC games” category. Also on that list is Days Gone, the game that just launched on PC last week.
During the presentation, Sony said porting their games to PCs is a way to recoup investment from exclusive games and “create new fans for our games.”
Given the PC’s previous announcements of plans to bring games to PCs, this isn’t too shocking news. But Sony seems to have revealed its plans to port the game to PC earlier than expected.
Uncharted 4 originally launched on PlayStation 4 in May 2016. No Uncharted games have made it to PC yet, and the PS5 doesn’t have any part of the series. When Horizon Zero Dawn appeared on PC in mid-2020 and recently Days Gone, it is possible for Sony’s exclusive super products to be ported to PC.
Quite surprising that Uncharted 4 PC port has not been rumored or predicted before. God of War is often the most talked about series, as are Bloodborne and Ghost of Tsushima. Presumably, these games will also be sold on PC eventually, but we will have to wait a bit longer to know exactly which game will appear next.
