The Straits Times reports that the Tripartite Coalition for Fair and Progressive Employment Cooperation (TAFEP) has received anonymous complaints from employees about trouble sex and unfair treatment at this company.
When investigating the development of Skull & Bones, a Kotaku article painted a bleak picture of the studio, with accusations of weak leadership and employee abuse. According to the Straits Times, the accused companies will be required to conduct an internal investigation and interview witnesses and victims. TAFEP will also require these companies to implement new policies to prevent the same thing from happening in the future.
If Ubisoft Singapore is found to be in violation of the Ministry of Manpower’s Fair Considerations Framework, the studio will face difficulties in either creating work permits for foreigners or renewing existing ones.
