Two new villains in Spider-Man PS4

Screenshots from the PS4-exclusive Spider-Man were shared today, featuring two of the villains revealed in the manga: Shocker and Norman Osborn.

Here are the first close-ups we can see of these two characters, although both appear very little in this trailer. In the trailer, our hero is attacked by Shocker’s weapon and thrown straight into the bank’s vault door. The new photos coincide with this scene, as Shocker is clearly in the treasury area with dollars billowing.

In another scene of the trailer, we see Norman Osborn seemingly running for mayor. The new picture gives us a better look at Osborn, when he was still quite clean. For those who don’t know, Norman Osborn is actually one of Spider-Man’s most notorious villains, the Green Goblin himself. It is not clear if Osborn has turned evil, but given what we know about him, it is possible that Osborn is harboring some dark intentions.

In the news, we know that the new Spider-Man will stick to the character in the story. Insomniac Games revealed that Spider-Man will have about 1,000 joke lines. Peter Parkers (Spider-Man) is always humorous in the story, no matter how dangerous the situation is. That’s also why fans love Spider-Man so much. Therefore, this is good news for fans when the developer decides to follow the character’s personality closely.

Spider-Man not only has spider silk, but also a lot of his own tools, including: web bomb, tripwire, and spider-drone. Tripwire works like a sensor mine that can shoot spider webs if someone steps in range, web bombs will explode when thrown, anyone caught in them will be tied up, and spider-drone can fly, spontaneously shoot silk at the bad guys.

Spider-Man 4 will launch on PS4 on September 7, 2018.
