After Temtem came out, the world of games Pokemon on PC is starting to expand with a series of indie games of the same genre, and fans will be waiting for more soon Monster Crown to this list. Monster Crown is developed by Studio Aurum, with a Game Boy-style interface but with a darker tone than other monster collecting games.
Monster Crown takes place on Crown Island, which has been through a difficult time and is under the rule of a dictator. Players are tasked with stopping this guy from “storming”, but can also choose for themselves between being a hero or a villain. The player’s choices will change the later content of the entire game.
The game has 200 monsters for players to freely collect, breed and evolve into hundreds of more unique species. In addition to the main storyline, Monster Crown features both combat and online trading. The difference of Monster Crown from other games of the same type is that the character can swear and the monster can destroy each other. This is probably the craziest game inspired by Pokémon.
Players can visit Monster Crown’s Steam page here to download a free demo for the duration of the event Steam Game Festival. Monster Crown will cash on stage Steam Early Access starting July 30.
