In the previous part, EmergenceInGame introduced you to 3 tips to develop and expand the city in the game Township. In the next section, we will explore 3 more useful tips to develop our city better!
4. Send orders by train or plane
Customer orders don’t just appear in every heliport area. Check out the train station, where there are always trains waiting to be loaded.
It is very important to send goods by train as soon as possible. The reward for this will be different than for the helicopter, but both are equally important.
Instead of getting gold coins or experience, trains will bring back building materials, such as nails, wall paint, hammers, etc. These items are essential to completing construction projects, and without them you won’t be able to build more buildings in your city.
So as soon as a train stops at the station, quickly respond to the requested orders. This will allow players to have a constant supply of materials, to be ready when new construction is needed.
Trains will take time to deliver goods, so the sooner the train is sent, the better. You can reduce the waiting time for the train by using T-cash, so trains will deliver goods immediately without waiting.
Building materials can also be obtained just by playing the game, as players level up will be rewarded with chests that can unlock these materials. Furthermore, there are events in the game that also give the opportunity to acquire building materials.
Starting at level 17, there will be one more means of transporting goods: the airport. Here you will have to fulfill larger orders and take much longer to deliver the goods, but the rewards are well worth it.
5. Try to upgrade the warehouse as much as possible
Because everything is produced in Township are stored in a warehouse, it will regularly need to be upgraded its capacity to prevent overcrowding. If there are too many things stored in the warehouse, it will not be able to hold the goods you produce later.
Upgrading the warehouse requires building materials, which the player can obtain by fulfilling orders by train. So be sure to focus on these orders, as we said above. Sometimes spending T-cash to ship the goods immediately will be necessary if you are in need of those materials right away.
If you just want to clear some space in your warehouse, you can sell products. Just select the warehouse and choose any product you want to sell. Selling crops is best, as replanting them is easy.
Another way to make the most of warehouse capacity is to leave products in the factory, unless there is an immediate need for them. So it’s also important to open more production slots in factories, but we’ll talk about that later.
6. Make new friends and explore social connections
Join the social network in Township because that would be very beneficial. For example, when a product is missing to fulfill an order for a train or plane, the player can simply ask for help. The more friends you have, the higher your chances of getting help.
Find more friends by selecting “Social” located in the bottom left corner of the screen. Tap the smiley face icon and select the item Find Friends. Here we can see a bunch of users and send them friend requests. Players can also visit their city and hit “Like” to let them know that you like the way they design. They can also do the same to your city.
Also from item Social, the player can see users who need help completing train or plane orders. Be enthusiastic to help them and maybe they will help you back when needed.
Asking for help when needed is one of the best ways to grow. It’s a win-win situation where you get free items from other players and can send trains/airplanes faster. At the same time, when you help others, they will send a thank you letter or gift containing the currency needed to participate in the event.
