Over the past 25 years, Blizzard has captured the hearts of millions of fans with their captivating storylines and the vast world they’ve created. In each new world, Blizzard forces us to ask ourselves why should we care? And the answer always lies first in the characters.

There are so many great characters in the game that it is impossible to list them all. Below is a list of the top 25 most loved characters in Blizzard by IGN.

Illidan Stormrage was once an honorary member of the Night Elves until he betrayed his people in pursuit of power. First introduced in Warcraft 3, Illidan is a banished demon hunter but gradually becomes what he is trying to hunt, captured by demonic forces.
