Natus Vincere or Na`Vi is the legendary name that won The International 2011 and inspired many amateur (now professional) players to have a passion for Dota 2. But recently, Na`Vi was eliminated right from the open qualifiers of The International 2018.
Speaking of defeat, both of their defeats were lost at the hands of two unknown teams: first ESPADA, then imagine hehe. The black and yellow team has finally reached the lowest point in the organization’s Dota 2 history. So what did the Dota 2 community say?
The CEO of the organization himself apologized for the humiliation. Yevhen Zolotagor has given the team many opportunities over the past year to recover from a string of ‘disgraceful’ results. Most recently, he has put his faith in Na`Vi’s recent roster with Nikola “LeBronDota” Popovic, before the team kicks the player away next month.

Forgive me, this is a disgrace. The boys tried their best, but this roster is like a headless snake and that’s the result of my decisions, even if the players didn’t give me too many options to make decisions. Either way, I am responsible for this outcome. I’ll let you guys know about the team’s future next week.
Midllane ‘Dendi’ also spoke briefly.
Sorry fam?

The ‘imagine hehe’ player also shared his disappointment when a team with everything like Na`Vi lost to a mix-team that had only been formed a day.

It’s disappointing that a new stack formation one day can take down a team that has everything.
Natus Vincere is often invited to competitive events solely by their name, despite poor performance and failure to qualify for the qualifiers. Is it possible that Na`Vi will somehow make it to TI8?
like dumbledore does every year for Gyffindor, just give them magic points to win the house cup

Coach Vega Squadron called this a disaster from the team’s recent roster policies.
Sad to see Na’Vi go out like this, but at the same time–this is where it was always going to end. They either had to stop the cycle of acquiring players and throwing them away again, or face this bitter moment where they couldn’t buy anyone to bail them out anymore.
