The journey of little Clementine in Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead is also coming to an end. The next season of The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: The Final Season will end the series forever. This has sparked fan speculations as to whether Clementine will be alive when the game credits start.
On March 30, Telltale Games said they would be giving the world their first look at The Walking Dead: The Final Season at PAX East, which takes place on April 6, 2018. Gamers in attendance at the event This player can head to the Albatross theater at 12:30PM local time, to watch the trailer and discuss the game.
People can go to the Walking Dead cosplay area to meet Clementine’s voice actor, Melissa Hutchison, to take pictures and interact. Hutchison has worked with Telltale Games on a variety of projects, including voice acting roles in The Wolf Among Us, Minecraft: Story Mode, and Back to The Future- but none has been as profound as Clementine in The Walking Dead.
Here is the full schedule at PAX East:
We still don’t know anything more about The Final Season except that Clementine will continue to be the main character in this part. The studio also confirmed that Gary Whitta, who wrote the heartbreaking endings in the first season (but not in season 2), will be returning to the production team. He said Clementine’s storyline from the beginning was one of the highlights of his screenwriting career. That’s why he’s back to finish the last chapter of Clementine’s journey (for better or worse).
Telltale Games said it will focus on fewer games after cutting 25% of its workforce last year, announcing it was only a few months after the company confirmed this was the final season of The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season does not currently have a release date, and is expected to be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
